In reply to Jackie Kiadii. Hi Jackie, great observation. I've noticed that some companies are more concerned about employees abusing of their freedom, than others. Maybe the corporate culture in those companies is part of the issue. Also, with COVID, the move to a virtual workforce came very suddenly. There wasn't a lot of time to prepare, or to establish parameters and guidelines. I think those guidelines would go a long way toward putting employers at ease, and make them more open to giving flexibility and freedom to their employees.

Your article does a great job of summarizing the reasons why allowing more employees to work from home is a win for employers. I think the retention piece is a major reason why employers should consider it. Have you noticed remote work 2020 version is a little different? There’s a little less freedom and more monitoring of employees?
